In 2023 Integra took our partnership with Crazy Ideas College (CIC) to the next level, working with over 150 young people across eight schools in Ballarat.
Over 85 young people from Mount Clear College, Mount Rowan Secondary College and Ballarat Grammar School, stepped up to participate in Ballarat’s Social Innovators (SI) program which is run by Crazy Ideas College (CIC).
The Lucas Hockey Club formed in 2022 at a time when the sport was seeing growth in Ballarat.

Earlier this year, Integra Group supported a Social Innovators program run by Crazy Ideas College, and was fortunate to hear some brilliant, community-enriching ideas from young people across Ballarat.
Integra presents Three Thousand Eight Hundred and One Trees (and each one has a name), a children’s book written to inspire a new generation of young historians with the incredible story of the Lucas Girls and their involvement in the planting of the Avenue of Honour and construction of the Arch of Victory.
Last week, 23 young people from Mount Rowan Secondary College who are taking part in the Crazy Ideas College program pitched their ideas to members of the community, including Integra staff, who were blown away by their innovative solutions to some of the issues they identified in their community.
Beyond: by Ballarat is an immersive, interactive ideas showcase that will highlight the stories and successes of Ballarat’s young social innovators.
